Jefferson Township, Michigan Approved Dredging Channel for Arsenic

April 18, 2007

It was established after a town-hall meeting that the Wilson Channel, off of Diamond Lake, would get dredged for dangerous chemicals like arsenic. The Jefferson Township Channel has not been dredged since it was created back in 1951.

The project, set to start after spawning season, will take about a year to complete.
