Benzene Report: What Vermont is Doing to Reduce the Danger in Burlington and Around the State
June 22, 2007
Burlington, Vermont - Currently, there is no federal
standard determining what levels of Benzene are dangerous. Vermont, however, set
its own several years back in order to maintain cleaner and safer air for its
residents.
Over the last ten years, Vermont has seen a decline in its
Benzene rates, but is still not satisfied. Now, thanks to a half a million
dollar grant from the EPA, testing is being done which has revealed the
carcinogen's rates to be above the standard it has set.
Have you been harmed by benzene? It is essential that you inquire about your Benzene case as soon as possible. Your individual state's law may limit your time to bring a legal claim to protect your rights. Your legal review is free and there is no commitment. You case will be evaluated immediately.
