Weitz & Luxenberg is no longer accepting Heparin cases
Cause of Heparin Problems still Unknown
The cause of the problems emerging from the blood thinner Heparin is still unknown.
Although there is speculation that eventually problems will be traced back to
a counterfeit ingredient from Chinese factories that produce raw Heparin, this
hypothesis is still unproven.
However, batches of Heparin that caused
illness or death contained the contaminant while Heparin without the ingredient
appeared not to cause any problems.
According to Baxter, the maker of
Heparin, most of the world’s Heparin supply originates in China.
If you or someone you know has been seriously injured by Heparin, or if you have any questions, please fill out the form.
