Jerry Kristal — e-mail client relations
Jerry Kristal is the managing attorney for our South Jersey office and serves as one of the firm's lead trial lawyers for the Asbestos and Pharmaceutical Units. Mr. Kristal, who has been an attorney for 30 years, joined the firm in 1997. Throughout his tenure here, he has helped hundreds of people receive just compensation for their injuries. In addition to Asbestos, Mr. Kristal specializes in pharmaceutical torts and has worked on Vioxx, Celebrex/Bextra, PPA and tobacco cases. Among Weitz & Luxenberg's recent high-profile successes is the 2006 trial against Merck & Co. on behalf of John McDarby, 77, who suffered a heart attack after taking Vioxx, in which Mr. Kristal was a prominent member of the trial team. Mr. Kristal’s fight for Asbestos victims has resulted in some of the highest verdicts against Asbestos defendants in the country. Mr. Kristal regularly leads Asbestos plaintiff seminars, as well as those on epidemiology and offensive discovery.
