Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 9th Annual Ball
Guests of Honor: Mr. and Mrs. Perry Weitz
Weitz & Luxenberg founding and senior partner Perry Weitz and his wife Felicia attended the 9th Annual Masked Ball to benefit the New York Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDF) as the guests of honor.
Arthur Luxenberg chaired the event and achieved record levels of fund raising. Mr. and Mrs. Weitz were accorded the JDF's International Young Leadership Committee "Humanitarian of the Year Award," for their efforts to combat this debilitating disease.
As former president Bill Clinton wrote in his congratulatory letter to the Weitzes; "I commend you for your deep concern about our future and for your exemplary commitment to improving our world."
Weitz & Luxenberg was also a proud sponsor of the 2001 Walk to Cure Diabetes.
