The awarded compensation will go to pay for home health aides, past and future pain and suffering, and the balance for medical expenses and loss of earnings. “Busone will always require the use of a wheelchair, care of home health aides and medical equipment, and will never be able to work to support herself financially,” said the law firm. One of her attorney’s, Stephen Coffey, noted that the verdict confirmed that Bellevue didn’t do what it was supposed to do when Buscone was born in 1984.
