Mesothelioma is a serious form of lung cancer that comes from exposure to asbestos.

If you were exposed to asbestos and have now been diagnosed with mesothelioma or lung cancer, the asbestos legal team at Weitz & Luxenberg may be able to help. Please answer the brief questions below.

Question 1: Were you diagnosed with mesothelioma, or, perhaps a member of your family?

Virtually all cases of mesothelioma are a result of exposure to asbestos, so if you have been diagnosed, you may have a case.

Question 2: Do you know how you were exposed to asbestos?

When filing a mesothelioma claim, it is important to try and recall how you were exposed to asbestos. If you were exposed on the job, note your occupation and what parts of your job required you to work with asbestos. If you were exposed at home, try and determine if you were exposed through the clothes of a family member, for example, or if your house or workplace had asbestos in the air.

Question 3: Do you know where you were exposed to asbestos?

If you were exposed to asbestos while on the job, the manufacturers of the asbestos you worked with will be held responsible for your injuries. Because of this, it is important that you recall, as specifically as possible, all job sites where you had asbestos exposure. From your list of job sites, Weitz & Luxenberg can determine which asbestos manufacturers were responsible for supplying the asbestos materials that made you sick. Any information or documentation you can provide relating to the history of your exposure would be valuable evidence for your claim.

If you answered "yes" to these three questions, please complete the form on this page. A firm representative will contact you shortly to discuss your potential case. If you didn't answer yes to these questions, but would still like to discuss your potential case, feel free as well to fill out the form on this page.

Mesothelioma & Asbestosis Mortalities Across the US: 1979-2001 (c/o EWG)

“We have seen first-hand how asbestos has wreaked havoc on Americans working in naval shipyards, automobile plants, and the construction industry. Most often this is through their employers’ conscious choice for profits over a worker's health.”

-- Joseph Patrick Williams, a trial attorney in the Asbestos Litigation department of Weitz & Luxenberg
