Poughkeepsie, NY - GM to update PCB cleanup Thursday

October 5, 2006

Poughkeepsie - A study linking PCB exposure to increased rates of heart disease in the areas surrounding the Hudson River has prompted Congressman Maurice Hinchey to hold a news conference urging GE to clean up the river.

GE is responsible for cleaning the area up- and is willing to- but first needs approval from the EPA and a federal judge.
