Perry Weitz Arthur Luxenberg Robert Gordon

The law firm of Weitz & Luxenberg was founded in 1986 by attorneys Perry Weitz and Arthur Luxenberg on a philosophy with two main principles: that every client's case is the law firm's most important case, and that every client deserves his or her lawyer's diligent attention, compassion, and excellence.

When Perry Weitz and Arthur Luxenberg came together, they created a firm devoted to giving back to New York and the entire nation. Both are associated with many non-profit organizations and have served on many boards of directors.

A few years after the firm's inception, Robert J. Gordon joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 1991 to be chief trial lawyer for the asbestos consolidated trials. He has tried 70 mass tort cases involving asbestos, Vioxx, Rezulin, and silicone gel breast implants, obtaining multi-million dollar jury verdicts. He lectures nationally and has published numerous articles on various aspects of complex litigation.
