Venus Burns joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2011 as part of the asbestos unit in the California office. She has been active in asbestos litigation since January of 2010. Before she graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, she competed on Mock Trial and served as Bar Association Community Service Chairperson.  While interning at the Office of the Public Defender, San Diego, she successfully served as second chair on several trials.

Admitted in December 2009, she is a member of California State Bar;  Southern District of California
