On August 4, 2009, health officials began pulling water samples from the Acreage, Florida, where residents believe there is a possible cancer cluster.
The Department of Environmental Protection will take samples from about 50 wells throughout a 10-square mile area in Acreage and will sample water from a child-care facility in the area, according to a CBS 12 news report.
The results will reportedly be evaluated and the findings will be ready in 6 to 8 weeks.
