VETERANS SERVICES
VA clinics provide free testing for asbestos exposure
Military veterans have the right to asbestos-testing services upon their return home. Contact information for sites that provide such services are available on this Web site, or consult your local directory for a Veterans Administration clinic.
Lung cancer and other health issues derived from asbestos exposure frequently take a long time to incubate, often 15 to 30 years or more after initial exposure. As a result of the stealth nature of these conditions, it is advised that you have your doctor screen you.
Additionally, because asbestos-related diseases are progressive, when a respiratory problem arises and you have had potential exposure to asbestos, you should immediately get the medical help you need.
Surviving with lung cancer can be daunting. Weitz & Luxenberg can help relieve some of the burden by providing you with a free case evaluation. Your first step is to fill out the form below.
