Sentence in New York Asbestos Abatement Case
A Niskayuna, New York man who worked as Director of Operations for an asbestos abatement company received a sentence of 15 months in prison, followed by 2 years of supervised release. The sentence in this case also included ther requirement that he perform 200 hours of community service.
The man was found guilty of illegal environmental activities. He also pled guilty to a conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act and Toxic Substances Control Act and to substantive Clean Air Act violations.
