Asbestos Abatement Project at Big Spring, TX College

In March 2009, trustees at Howard College announced that renovation projects at the Big Spring, TX school are proceeding on schedule. The renovation includes asbestos abatement.

The school also announced that work at the science building will be delayed until Memorial Day weekend. The servers for the campus phone system and computer network are housed in that building, so the decision was made to have that work performed when the school would be closed. During the abatement project at the science building, neither the school’s phone system nor the computer network will operational.
