OSHA Investigating Demolition in Central Point, OR for Possible Asbestos Exposure
According to a March 2009 report in the Oregon Mail Tribune, officials for the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are currently investigating a possible asbestos violation at a Central Point, OR demolition site.
OSHA received a report from a city worker that workers were exposed to asbestos while demolishing a 100-year old vacant residential property. An OSHA spokesperson confirmed that the matter was currently under investigation.
The OSHA report is expected to be released during March 2009.
