Asbestos Removal at City Hall Building in Columbus, Texas

In February 2009, the Colorado County Citizen reported on the status of demolition and asbestos removal at the city hall building in Columbus, Texas.  While the demolition work is being conducted, employees are working at temporary offices located near the city hall building.

Once the asbestos removal and demolition project is complete, construction and renovations will begin. The City of Columbus Council was scheduled to approve a bid for that phase of the work on February 26, 2009.
