Dr. Black is the Lincoln County, Montana Medical Officer and the Medical Director of the Center for the Community Asbestos Related Diseases Clinic.
Dr. Black practices at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby, Montana, where he focuses on pulmonary care. He has been a member of the hospitals’ active staff since 1977.
Dr. Black received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Kansas and his medical degree from the Kansas University School of Medicine. Dr. Black completed a one year residency at the University of Utah and a two-year residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
