Holland, PA School District Fined by EPA for Asbestos Management Violations
In June 2009, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that a settlement had been reached with the Council Rock School District in Holland, PA for violations of the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).

Since the District’s costs to come into compliance with the violations exceeded the amount of the fines, the EPA penalty was waived.
