Asbestos Removal Project at Kennet Square, PA School

In April 2009, officials for a Kennet Square, PA school district announced that plans to convert one of the district’s buildings into a kindergarten center would require the removal of asbestos panels in the building’s bathrooms. The panels were installed when the building was constructed in 1970.

A district representative stated the panels will be removed over the summer and will be replaced with fiberglass panels. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
