According to an April 2009 report in the News Record & Sentinel, a Marshall, NC architect filed a complaint with the Occupational, Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) because of concerns regarding asbestos removal during the renovation of the Marshall Town Hall building.
The architect also brought her concerns to the town Board, alleging that when new insulation was installed over the existing ceiling, asbestos was improperly removed by town employees.
