Tearing out old boilers and pipework caused man's asbestos exposure and led to mesothelioma.
In recent news about the risks to asbestos exposure, a man with mesothelioma who was exposed to an asbestos "snowstorm" while doing pipework is appealing to former coworkers to help him fulfill his wish and provide for his family.
The man says he was exposed to asbestos in the 1960s when doing pipework.
He has now developed mesothelioma from his asbestos exposure, and is wants to find out more information on the firm to claim lawsuit compensation to fund vital medical care and look after his family.
The man said he began working around asbestos in the 1960s, when he was involved in tearing out old boilers and pipework at a range of local properties.
He was diagnosed with mesothelioma in July but started feeling the early symptoms in March 2006, getting pains in his chest and breathlessness.
He says he would like to file for lawsuit compensation to ensure his wife is comfortable.
"There may be other people who have been exposed to asbestos, so the sooner we can raise awareness of the potential danger the better," he said.
Many people who did pipework or tended boilers have come forward to say their work environment led to a diagnosis of mesothelioma, asbestosis or lung cancer from asbestos.
