Monitoring (a representative sample of personal employee exposure assessments) shall be conducted to assure exposure to asbestos is not in excess of the 30 minute Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) of Fiber per Cubic Centimeter (F/CC) of air, and the eight hour Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of F/CC.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS’s) and Labels and/or other forms of communication are required on asbestos containing products.
