Designated Overseer of Asbestos in Schools

The designated overseer is responsible for making sure that custodial and maintenance workers receive required safety training and information about the location of asbestos-containing materials in their school.

Warning labels must be posted in all routine maintenance areas, such as boiler rooms, where asbestos-containing building materials are found.
