SMOKE-FREE HOMES
Protect your health by creating a home environment that is free of smoke and asbestos
It is important to note that if you have been exposed to asbestos, you are at higher risk for lung cancer and, thus, it is especially important for your health to create a home that is free of smoke and asbestos.
The New York City Housing Authority has joined an effort to reduce smoking by displaying smoke-free home posters in English and Spanish in some Manhattan developments.
