Women with Mesothelioma who was Exposed to Asbestos While Remodeling and Repairing Rental Homes Files Suit
A Minnesota woman diagnosed with mesothelioma filed an asbestos suit in Madison County Circuit Court, said the Madison County Record on June 5, 2008.
According to that report, the woman claims she worked as a laborer in the 1940s and was self-employed from 1945 to 1971 remodeling, renovating, repairing, and maintaining rental properties located in Minnesota.
She claims that during her time as an employee and also during home and automotive repairs she was exposed to and inhaled, ingested or otherwise absorbed asbestos fibers emanating from certain products she was working with and around.
Sadly, this situation is all too familiar to the attorneys in the Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. Asbestos Litigation unit here in the United States.
