Asbestos found in toys and clay products for children
November 27, 2007--The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is reporting that asbestos has been found in children's toys on the shelves in stores across the country.
The paper reports that the CSI Fingerprint Examination Kit, along with children's play clay, were identified as containing asbestos, according to labs hired by the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization.
The CSI Fingerprint Examination Kit, which contains dusting paraphernalia, is a grave concern to health officials as it is a top seller.
Charles Ferguson, head of Asbestos Litigation at Weitz & Luxenberg, P.C., said, “Given the misperceptions people have about asbestos and its grave health risks, it is imperative that the public become fully informed of its continued commercial use.”
People who have been diagnosed with asbestos exposure are urged to fill out the form below for a free legal review.
