Hammarskjold School to undergo asbestos removal by contractors

Hammarskjold Middle School will undergo an asbestos removal project by contractors during spring break.

"The contractors are certified and experienced in this type of work, and licensed professionals will oversee the removal and monitor and test air quality to ensure that the regulatory standards are met," according to a person familiar with the project.
