Hammarskjold School will undergo asbestos removal work

Asbestos removal work at Hammarskjold School will take place during spring break

The work at Hammarskjold, a 1,450-pupil school, is the back end of an improvement project supported by an $81 million bond approved by voters in a 2004 referendum. The project included renovations and expansions at Central and Lawrence Brook elementary schools, completed last year.
