The family of an aircraft maintenance fitter in England has filed an asbestos lawsuit against an aviation industry giant, claiming he died due to repeated long-term exposure to the carcinogen, reported the Stockport Express newspaper on February 14, 2008.
According to the article, the maintenance worker used asbestos tape daily and
was continually exposed to asbestos dust and fibers.
He died of
mesothelioma at the age of 78.
Sadly, such cases of entirely avoidable
exposure to asbestos are quite common. Since 1986, our lawyers have dedicated themselves
to helping those with asbestos-related illnesses and their families seek compensation for their
illness.
