If your job as a roofer exposed you to asbestos and caused illness, you have a right to file a lawsuit.
A roofer who won compensation in a lawsuit after becoming ill through working with asbestos has died, according to the Argus Reader on July 12, 2008.
The 59-year-old man died on Friday at his family's home in England.
He
was diagnosed with mesothelioma
cancer in December 2006.
He was exposed to asbestos while fitting roofs and ceilings.
After his
diagnosis, he opted to launch a lawsuit for compensation.
He
contacted attorneys through a charitable organization and ultimately received
compensation.
Sadly, this situation is all too familiar to the attorneys in the Weitz &
Luxenberg P.C. Asbestos
Litigation unit here in the United States.
