Colorado woman files asbestos complaint

July, 2008 -- A Colorado woman diagnosed with mesothelioma filed an asbestos complaint. The woman claims she was employed from 1958 to 2008 in various positions across the United States where she was exposed to asbestos.

She lists 73 defendant corporations, which include major, household names in the suit. The woman claims the defendants knew or should have known that the asbestos fibers in their products had a toxic, poisonous and highly harmful effect upon the health of people.
