Asbestos at school not expected to present danger during renovation
''There is some asbestos, but none that presents any danger and during renovation it would be removed,'' Moore said.
To fund the project, the board may borrow $10 million in the form of a municipal bond that would add 1.16 mills to the budget. District Business Administrator Sylvia Lenz said that if approved by the board, the mills would be phased in over a three-year period.
