Asbestos Demolition Sites

For abatement projects at demolition sites not solely employing glovebag and/or tent procedures, area air sampling shall be performed at the following sampling locations: One area sample taken outside the work area within 10 feet of isolation barriers; and One area sample taken within the uncontaminated entrance to each worker decontamination and waste decontamination enclosure system.

One area sample within 5 feet of the unobstructed exhaust from a negative pressure ventilation system exhausting indoors.
