Mill Clean Up Leads to Asbestos Exposure
July, 2008 -- Earlier this week mill clean-up workers found themselves exposed to asbestos, a potentially deadly substance. The exposure incident occurred after asbestos-containing side walling was punctured. Due to the risk of health problems around one hundred workers had to be sent home from the mill.
A cleanup is now underway at the mill following the incident.
