Asbestos Demolition: The Fort Worth Method
In general, the "Fort Worth Method," as it is known, calls for thoroughly wetting the structure with a fire hose while it is demolished using a bulldozer or track hoe, but it does not call for removing all the RACM prior to demolition. The City has proposed a three-phased approach to obtaining EPA's approval of the Fort Worth Method.
