Savannah City Government criticized for ignoring asbestos problem

Even though asbestos is a known health hazard, all that the city of Savannah requires of contractors with respect to asbestos is to notify the state.

Sadly, an investigation revealed that no one from any government actually checks to make sure the asbestos is removed.
