West Virginia man with mesothelioma and asbestosis lists 79 companies in lawsuit
A man has filed a suit against 79 companies, after he contracted asbestosis and mesothelioma, reported the West Virginia Record on June 26, 2008.
The man worked as a laborer at Union Carbide in South Charleston and was a student at a local college, according to court documents. He says he was exposed to asbestos in the products used on his jobsites, which were located across West Virginia.
Sadly, this situation, where exposure to asbestos was easily preventable, is all too familiar to the mesothelioma attorneys in the Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. Asbestos Litigation unit.
