ASBESTOS MORTALITY
Asbestos factory worker dies of asbestosis
If your asbestosis was caused by a factory job in New York State, you are eligible for financial compensation.
During her early 20s, a woman diagnosed with asbestosis worked for a short time at an asbestos factory, which her family believes contributed to her death, said the Western Telegraph on August 1, 2008.
Reportedly, the 81-year-old mother of three worked at an asbestos factory, but left after three weeks because the atmosphere on the assembly line was uncomfortable and dusty.
According to the Telegraph, she was diagnosed with terminal asbestos tumors in May 2007 and died in April of this year.
Doctors said her death was caused by the industrial disease asbestosis.
Sadly, this situation is all too familiar to the attorneys in the Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. Asbestos Litigation unit.
