Family of Asbestos sprayer: "He never believed it was harmful"
A man who formerly worked as an asbestos sprayer always believed the insulation material was not harmful and told his family as much. Sadly, however, he has just succumbed an asbestos-related disease, according to The Citizen newspaper in the United Kingdom.
The man's daughter said her father began working work for a firm of asbestos
sprayers in the early '60s.
According to the report, the man passed away
in a nursing home. The cause was "bronchopneumonia due to asbestos-related lung cancer."
Many such deaths have
been recorded over decades as due to the carcinogen asbestos.
