Cell Phone Use Quadruples Car Crash Risk

A study reported by the HealthDay News found that drivers using cell phones while they are driving quadruple their risk of getting into a serious accident.

The study found the risk is the same wheither the driver is using a hands free device or not.

University of Sydney researchers analyzed data on 456 drivers who have reported using a cell phone at the time of the car accident which required hospitalization.
