If you or a family member has been diagnosed with Mesothelioma, we hope you will find the resources here discussing the disease and the experiences of other Mesothelioma patients and families helpful
One very highly recommended book is “Surviving Mesothelioma: A Patient’s Guide,” by Paul Kraus. Mr. Kraus was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in June of 1997 and given a dismal prognosis.
While working with his medical team, he became pro-active in his own treatment, consulting with other doctors and doing his own research. He began a path of treatment that included measures to boost his immune system, dietary changes and mind-body approaches.
And now, almost ten years’ later, Mr. Kraus continues to encourage others through his Web site, where he offers regularly scheduled teleconferences where Mesothelioma patients and families are able to listen, learn and ask questions.
While Mr. Kraus’ approach may not work for all Mesothelioma patients, his book, which can be ordered on his Web site can serve as a communication tool for patients and families dealing with this serious diagnosis.
In addition to your medical team and support network, you also need a highly qualified and experienced team of Mesothelioma Lawyers. At Weitz & Luxenberg, we can help you file a lawsuit to cover your medical bills, pain and suffering and other expenses.
