One Person Dead Following Three-Car Accident

A three-car accident happened just before midnight when a car stalled in the middle of the freeway. Moments later, a Dodge truck rear-ended that car, setting it on fire. A third car hit the first two vehicles, critically injuring the driver. The driver of the third car was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Police arrested the driver of the truck, which was the second vehicle, on suspicion of drunk driving.

Fuel costs drive up bus use

More students are riding school buses and bus drivers are driving more miles across the Greenville County school district because of increasing fuel costs and rising student enrollments.
