Celebrex Heart Risks
Studies show that Celebrex, the the Cox-2 inhibitor painkiller, doubles the
risk of heart disease when taken at a 400 mg dosage.
The study explains
that despite the benefit of severely reducing the risk that precancerous colon
polyps will grow back, Celebrex's heart risks outweigh its polyp prevention
benefit for the average person.
Because of the possible danger, the FDA
now requires a warning on the drugs' label.
Weitz & Luxenberg is no longer accepting Celebrex cases.
