Chromium in Raymond, NH - Old Tannery is New Cleanup Site

July 14, 2007

An old tannery in Raymond, NH has caused environmental problems. Chromium, a type of metal that was used in leather processing, was discovered nearby and has prompted a major cleanup in the area, since the town would like to place a wastewater treatment plant there.

Although the contamination isn't as dangerous as intially believed, the area will nevertheless have 7,000 tons of material excavated and buried on-site.

If you or someone you know has been affected by Chromium contamination, you may be entitled to a lawsuit. To find out, fill out the form below and you will receive a free case evaluation from the Environmental team at Weitz & Luxenberg.
