CLEANUP AT GOVERNMENT’S ROCKY MOUNTAIN ARSENAL INCLUDES REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS
Interim Response Actions for Colorado Rocky Mountain Arsenal
The U.S. Army, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and Shell Oil Company agreed in the mid-1980s that certain interim response actions should be undertaken (in accordance with the Federal Facility Agreement) to remove threats to the environment, while remaining consistent with any long-term, comprehensive cleanup at the government’s Rocky Mountain Arsenal.
