Cypher Coronary Stent Information
Recent studies have indicated that drug-eluting Cypher Stents have been found
to raise the risk of fatal blood clots.
The Cordis Corporation's Cypher Coronary Stents are used to treat clogged arteries in heart patients. The stents are metal-mesh tubes that prop open coronary arteries.
These drug-coated stents are intended to help prevent formation of scar tissue that can form new blockages after surgery, but studies have found that they carry very serious health risks.
Weitz & Luxenberg is no longer accepting Stent cases.
