The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that they have discovered more deaths linked to the blood thinner drug heparin. The drug has recently been recalled by Baxter International, but the cause of the deaths is still unknown.

The original recall for multi-dose forms of the blood thinner has been expanded to include all forms of Heparin.

The problems associated with Heparin, made from pig intestines bought from a Chinese plant, could have their root in China.

The FDA is working with scientists and staff from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as Baxter to diagnose the cause of the problem.

If you or someone you know has been harmed by Heparin, Weitz & Luxenberg may be able to help. Please complete the form below to have your questions answered.
