Foradil (also known as Formoterol) has been linked to serious side effects leading to hospitalization and death.

Manufactured by Novartis, this drug is found in the same group of asthma medications as Serevent and Advair.

These medications are typically prescribed to asthma patients not benefitting from other types of therapies and are usually used in conjunction with other treatments such as fast-action inhalers and steroids.
