Foradil - What you need to know about this "Breathe Easy" drug
Foradil is a long-acting asthma medication manufactured by
Novartis.
Long-acting asthma medication are usually taken daily to
decrease chronic symptoms of asthma, unlike short-acting medications which are
taken during an asthma attack.
Medications such as Foradil, Advair and Seravent are most often taken when other
recommended treatments are not effective (such as inhalers, steroids).
Foradil has been linked to serious health risks such as the increased
risk of a severe asthma attack and death.
