Do you take Fosamax? Beware of the health risks from normal bone trauma
Dangerous health risks have recently been linked between Fosamax and normal
bone trauma.
Normal bone trauma can result from invasive dental
procedures, such as tooth extractions and root canals and can result in the
development of a condition known as ONJ(Osteonecrosis involving the jaw) -
particularly when patients are undergoing bisphosphonate therapy with
drugs such as Fosamax.
This is a painful condition where the alveolar bone, rather than healing, died
due to the inability to grow new bone tissue, which led to a majority of the
patients requiring surgery to removed the diseased bone.
If you or a
loved one have developed Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (Dead Jaw)
as a result of taking Fosamax, you deserve compensation for your pain and
suffering.
